Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of My Homeschool Helper (“Service”), operated by My Homeschool Helper, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

My Homeschool Helper is a web-based homeschool planning and organization tool available at myhomeschoolhelper.com. The Service includes the dashboard, weekly planner, lesson plans, task management, attendance tracking, transcripts, printables library, and all other features made available to subscribers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you are an adult and are using the Service to manage your own homeschool or that of a family member in your care.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial for new accounts. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will begin automatically. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your first payment processes at the end of the trial period. Your data will not be immediately deleted if access expires and you may reactivate your account by subscribing at a later date.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Plans

We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal — accessible from the Billing tab on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected, your access to the Service may be suspended until the outstanding balance is resolved.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all homeschool data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — managing and organizing your homeschool. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
• Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or malicious content

8. Printables Library

The printables available in the Service are licensed for personal, non-commercial use by the subscribing family only. You may not redistribute, sell, or share printables with individuals outside your immediate household.

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or add features to the Service at any time. We will not remove core features without reasonable notice. All new features are included in your subscription automatically at no additional cost.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security vulnerabilities. Transcript and attendance records generated by the Service are based on data you enter — we are not responsible for their accuracy or acceptance by any educational institution or authority.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Homeschool Helper, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States, at our election.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
